International Watch Company (IWC) is a Swiss watch brand founded by American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones in Schaffhausen in 1868.
In 1936, IWC launched its first wristwatch specially designed for pilots; In 1939, the IWC Portugal watch was born; In 2004, IWC launched the Ocean Watch series.
